Muscles for women generally have a tendency to sag after they cross the age of 30, and in some cases 35. This is most evident with the tricep muscles. Therefore it is important for all women to learn some simple tricep exercises for women and do it on a regular basis like three to four times a week.
Tricep exercises for women are not at all difficult. In fact, there are some exercises that do not need any equipment at all. However, if the sagging of the triceps has reached an advanced stage then the use of some simple exercise equipment is called for.
There is no need for any expensive or sophisticated equipment. A simple pulley with some strong string tied to weights will suffice. The pulley and rope will be available in any hardware store. Just ask for small curtain pulleys and rope that is used with it. Weights can be anything from a brick tied to the rope or a tin can with a handle filled with sand.
The exercises themselves are simple. There are the freehand exercises and the weight exercises that constitute tricep exercises for women. To begin stand with your feet about 8 to 12 inches apart. Now, imagine that you are holding a moderately heavy weight attached to the imaginary pulley, like a dumbbell. With the palm of your hand facing up and bent at the elbow with the forearm horizontal to the floor breathe in slowly and imagine you are puling the weight attached to the pulley. Continue till the arm is completely by the side of your body.
